Christmas Show Details ~ 2024
We are so excited for our upcoming Christmas Show, on December 15th, 2024. Here are a few reminders/expectations to help you stay in the loop. Tickets will be available for purchase on November 4th at 8:00 PM, until then, you will notice that there Is an access code on the tickets. The access code prompt will disappear when the tickets are available to the public.
Seats sell VERY quickly, set those timers now!
Due to the fact that there will be two shows, be sure to check the lineup below purchasing tickets to ensure you purchase for the correct show.
Show Times:
First Show begins at 1:00, but the audience may begin taking their seats 15-30 minutes early.
Second Show begins at 3:00, but the audience may begin taking their seats 15-30 minutes early.
Don't Forget to Order that Christmas Show T-Shirt
T-Shirts go on sale November 4th, 2024. Last day to order shirts is November 12th at 9:00 pm, please have orders completed by then. T-shirts are $18 YXS-AXL and $21 for A2X and A3X.
Shirts will be handed out the week before the Christmas Show.
Christmas Show Shoutouts!
Get your child on the big screen on the day of the show Last day to purchase a Shout Out for your dancer is December 1st. Shoutouts will appear before and after the show on the big screen at the auditorium, and on our AHE Website. Only $8 per shoutout (per child). Purchase by December 1st, at 9:00 PM. Don’t forget to email lat9r2@gmail.com with a picture for the shoutout.
AHE Booster Club Is selling Christmas Show 8 inch Squishies for our show! Get them before they're gone! You will pick up your Squishie on the day of the show. Makes for a great Christmas gift! Squishies are $25.
On the Day of the Show-Christmas Show Checklist
Make your Christmas Show morning a breeze with our handy checklist. On the morning of the show, you will also notice our shout-outs will be on this page.
Christmas Show Attire
Students can wear their favorite Christmas pajamas (students must be able to dance in them, no nightgowns or footed pajamas). Hair must be completely out of face and footwear is determined by class ~ you will receive an email to better explain footwear closer to date of the show.
Christmas Show Reminders
Students should arrive dressed and ready to perform, except shoes. If bringing shoes, please bring a bag to put performing shoes in. The teachers will help our littles with the shoes prior to performances.
Dance is an art form. As an art, we practice many theater and performance formalities and insist that the audience watches the entire show. Students will not be released during the show.
Please practice consideration when exiting/entering during performances. Doors will be shut will students are on stage.
Photography is encouraged, but please no flashes.
Food or drink is not allowed into the auditorium.
We encourage lots of clapping, cheers, and whooo-hooos!
Checking In/Out- Please Read
Performers Check-In-
Check-In- Check in begins 30 minutes before the shows.
We are dedicated to the safety of our students, and want to ensure that all children are accounted for and met with the correct guardians after the show. We will conduct our check in/check out system similar to the way we did it at recital.
Students and one guardian will check-in at the side of the building. Guardians must bring a phone/mobile to the check-in/out. After the student is checked in, the guardian will then proceed to the entrance of the building to take his/her seat. The student will join the AHE staff member who will take him/her to the back auditorium to join their class.
Performers Check-Out-
After the show, students will all take one final bow. You will then notice that each class is held in a designated area upon the stage (a sign will indicate what class it is). The guardian (that was present upon check-in) will then line up and take the stage from the left side of the auditorium. After showing the check-in confirmation (that will be on your mobile device), the child will be released to the guardian and will exit off the right side of the stage.
Last Week of Classes
Last week of classes will be held through December 23rd.Classes will resume on January 6th 2025.
